OUR SERVICES
We are a small, locally-owned company of only four employees, and work hard to give our customers the highest market price for their timber.
We purchase standing trees from landowners across states including Northwest Illinois, Southwest Wisconsin, in Eastern Iowa. We deal directly with farmers and landowners and also buy a few select walnut trees within city limits.
We are not your typical logging company – we take a different approach to harvesting timber than most.
We specialize in low-impact tree removal and are always mindful of young trees and other native plants. From large tracks and forest land in Illinois to small groves of timber in Wisconsin, we try to keep the smallest footprint possible in order to minimize damage to the landowner’s property.
Why Choose Us?
We provide our customers with some of the highest industry prices for their timber and pride ourselves with our superior skill and expertise.
Fully licensed, bonded and insured, our customers have the advantage of working with a locally-owned company with competitive marketplace connections.
What Do We Stand For?
We live in the same community where we work and it is our goal to make sure our landowners are happy when we leave (and not just happy that we left).
We understand that keeping our customers happy is not only the best way to retain their business, but also makes for better neighborhoods, communities, and partnerships.
What is Our Timber Used For?
Our veneers are used in many things ranging from luxury aircrafts and yachts here in the States, to custom wood doors, windows, and many types of furniture coverings throughout China and Europe.
There’s a good chance that the lumber that created your beautiful Amish oak furniture or the walnut stock of your modern hunting rifle was harvested right here by Johnson logging in rural Illinois or Wisconsin.
Where Does Our Timber Go?
We provide timber for both domestic and international markets.
